Job description
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the upkeep and mechanical integrity of our specialty chemical manufacturing plants. Your primary objective will be to minimize downtime through effective preventive and breakdown maintenance of industrial machinery. You will supervise technicians and ensure all maintenance activities are performed under strict safety protocols. This role requires technical proficiency in mechanical systems, pumps, and reactors common in chemical plants. Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis of equipment failures are essential.
Requirements
Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
3 to 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience
Experience in a chemical or pharmaceutical plant environment
Ability to read technical drawings and manuals
Demonstrated stability in previous roles
